Headquartered in Richmond, London, Cafe Rouge was founded by Karen Jones and Roger Myers in 1989. It is a French-style restaurant chain for it has been committed to recreating authentic French food and wine in a Parisienne bistro style setting with at least 120 locations across the United Kingdom. It was the winner in the Mediterranean Casual Dining category at the 2012 Menu Innovation and Development Awards, and was awarded Peach Network Hero and Icon Consumer Choice earlier. Just as it says “at your local Cafe Rouge”, this restaurant chain believes that chefs and food are the core of everything it is committed to, and it takes advantages of the fresh ingredients, traditional and classic French cooking methods and recipes to prepare the classic and wholesome French food like Steak Frites, Poulet Breton, Moules and Confit De Canard.
